I specialize in front-end development, but also do a bit of backend. I enjoy coding on my free time, but I mainly spend my time interacting with family and friends. I am also a board member of CodeReSolve and we host workshops to teach other CS students technologies from Data Science, APIs, React and Machine Learning

ChalkBoard

The website allows professors to create courses for students where they can create multiple courses each with their own individual assignments, lessons, videos, etc. For students they are able to request to join professor created courses and complete assignments with the ability to save assignments as drafts to work on later. Built using HTML, CSS, EJS, MongoDB, NodeJS, Express, and is hosted on Heroku. Github Repo

Software Application Developer

Colgate-Palmolive

July 2006-Present

Wrote and developed modular and well-tested code in Python, Google Cloud, SQL, React, Express, and Node.js for applications used by HR to assign courses for employees along with a self-service portal used by businesses and customers.
Collaborated with various teams (Human Resources, Executive, Engineering) to plan develop and deploy applications for use, which involved discussing implementation plans, security features, user experience, and process from testing to launch.
Developed and deployed a web application on App Engine to facilitate downloads from Google Cloud Bucket about company product information between customers and our company/subsidiaries which improved client accessibility and resources that allowed the company to reach a broader client audience.
